A bookish postcard

I absolutely adore the Penguin postcards collection which I got as a gift this Christmas! I thought to share some of my favourites~

Some of the books I’ve read which I fondly remember, being classical favourites! List includes: The Garden Party by Katherine Mansfield; 1984 by George Orwell, The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie; Vile Bodies by Evelyn Waugh, Brighton Rock by Graham Greene; A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf; Music at Night by Aldous Huxley; Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

And here are the texts I am longing to read: The Case of the Careless Kitten by Erle Stanley Gardner; The Art of Marriage by Mary Macaulay; The Case of the Half-Awakened Wife by Erle Stanley Gardner; A Book of Toys by Gwen White; Kiss Kiss by Roald Dahl; Men Without Women by Ernest Hemingway; Tchaikovsky: Romeo and Juliet Suite; Thinking to Some Purpose by L. Susan Stebbing; A Severed Head by Iris Murdoch; F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night
